THURSDAY 9TH JUNE, CINEMA MASSIMO – SALA SOLDATI, H. 5:30 pm
Thanks to his particular interest in active mobility, environmental activist Gabriele Del Carlo, was one of the founders of Associazione FIAB Torino Bike Pride. This association has made Turin a more bike-friendly and livable city and is today celebrating its 10th anniversary.
Now, nearly two months after Gabriele’s tragic passing, the association and CinemAmbientewish to pay him a tribute and take into the future the tireless commitment that he made to sustainability issues, dedicating both his time and skills.
Finally, in Italy we are seeing the beginning of a public debate on “City 30”, which is a projectaimed at enhancing the quality of life in urban areas, ensuring better air quality and reducing noise pollution. This has been driven by the efforts of many communities, associations, local government bodies and members of parliament and has led to the presentation of a recent Bill in the national parliament proposing the introduction of the “City 30” model in a number of cities.
