After two years of its temporary course in autumn due to the Covid-19 health emergency, the CinemAmbiente Festival finally returns to its usual period. The 25th edition will be held in Turin, at the Cinema Massimo, the multiplex of the National Museum of Cinema, from Sunday 5 to Sunday 12 June 2022.
The Festival will be divided into two competitive sections – the International Documentary Competition and the International Short Film Competition – which will be followed by the non-competitive sections Made in Italy, Panorama, and CinemAmbiente VR. The Festival will focus on specific themes, presentations, meetings, conferences, and special events that complete the program.
The artistic director and founder of the Festival Gaetano Capizzi, the director of the National Museum of Cinema Domenico De Gaetano, and the staff are working on the program of a twenty-fifth edition, addressing an increasingly wide and heterogeneous audience, which will be full of innovations and creative ideas in compliance with the ten-year tradition of CinemAmbiente.
